DNS propagation checker
Changed a DNS record? See what resolvers around the world return for your domain right now.
Frequently
asked questions
Usually 1 to 4 hours. Each resolver keeps the old answer until the record’s TTL runs out, so a record with a 24 hour TTL can take a full day. In rare cases it takes up to 48 hours.
They cached your record before you changed it and haven’t asked for a fresh copy yet. Nothing is wrong. Wait for the old TTL to expire and check again.
Not after the change is made. Before your next change, lower the TTL to 300 seconds a day in advance. Resolvers will then refresh within 5 minutes once you update the record.
DNS is only the first step. Run the domain forwarding checker to see whether SSL and the redirect chain are working too.
