Wildcard Subdomain Redirects

Domain Forward supports wildcard subdomain redirects for the cases where you either have a very large amount of domains or do not know them in advance yet.

For example, you could set up a wildcard source as *.yoursite.com and all subdomains matching it will be included.

For example, this would include the following domains:

• www.yoursite.com
• api.yoursite.com
• user-generated-domain.yoursite.com

Some things to consider:

• While we do support wildcard subdomains, the SSL certificates themselves are per-subdomain. As soon as a request comes in and a certificate does not yet exist, one will be generated.
• Wildcard subdomains are only available in the Ultimate and Enterprise packages.
