URL Frame/Masking Redirects

URL frame/masking is useful for when you want to serve content from some other site under your domain. According to wikipedia, “Domain masking or URL masking is the act of hiding the actual domain name of a website from the URL field of a user’s web browser in favor of another name.”.

With Domain Forward, it is as easy as configuring regular 301 or 302 redirects. You just need to select the masking option when you create your redirects.

When the DNS settings are correctly configured, the masking starts working automatically if the target domain allows URL masking. HTTPS is enabled by default on the source domain.
